Space Cadet seemed to be toying with something in her hands. Since Todd was seated right beside her he had a good view, it was some sort of plush toy. Todd was going to ask her where she got it when he also spied Rapper Mikey put his hand...ON HER UPPER THIGH.
Oh man I didn't think Mikey had it in him!
Space Cadet didn't seem too pleased though as she reacted by quickly jumping with her face as red as a tomato. It may have been all the alcohol in his system but Todd found it very hard not to laugh at this bizarre turn of events.
Emily shot a dirty look his way but quickly focused her attention back to blondie. He shrugged and gave a big smile to Kevin who was just returning to the group.
"Hey Kev, you just missed my awesome rendition of Take On Me with Red! As for competition, please! You know I'm leagues above everyone else here, women can never resist the good old Thorne charm." He gave Kevin a wink and then ordered another beer, he was feeling very good at the moment and didn't want the buzz to end!

The alcohol was really starting to hit the young man - when Ashlin jumped, inadvertently pushing his hand places where he really hadn't meant his hand to go, he just blinked dimly, turning his head to look towards Ash's suddenly very red face. For a moment, he didn't move, his reaction time diminished...before somewhat awkwardly dragging his hand away, completely clueless as to what just happened.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to startle you," he mumbled, a slur in his tone. He paused for a second, seeming to try and think of something...before finally tacking on the other half of the rhyme. "...I'm...sure people are happy...way down in....Peru." He furrowed his brow. Did that make sense? Well, he supposed so. It rhymed, anyway. He took another sip of his drink, starting to look at least a little bit calmer. A pleasant sort of fuzziness had filled his head and he didn't much mind it - though he still kept getting his gaze dragged back towards York's cigarette.
He sort of...wanted one, actually. He didn't smoke very often, only once in a very great while, but...it sounded sort of...good, at the moment.
When Kevin took his seat, Michael looked over towards him, a vague sort of puzzlement in his eyes. He...hadn't been there before, had he? He was pretty sure he would have spotted the hair. Oh, well. He seemed to be familiar enough with some of the others, which is what mattered, really. He didn't talk to people all that much himself...not to socialize, anyhow. He knew they thought he was...weird.
A little frown crossed his lips as he looked down at the table, considering this train of thought and swaying a little.

Still rather red, but a little more at ease now that Michael's hand wasn't. . . down there, anymore, Ash turned to Tamika. She was still feeling sort of tingly and her voice had a sort of breathy quality to it that hadn't been there before when she answered Tamika. "I-I'm fine Tamika, but air . . . air would be good." She smoothed down her long shirt after getting up (Bo-Bo still in hand), and shot a quick shy glance at Michael before turning to Tamika and Emily.
It took her a moment to remember why she was holding Bo-Bo, she'd forgotten her fear in all the . . . excitement. Now that she remembered though she was even more eager to get out of the bar for a little while, at least.

Kevin couldn’t help but turn his attention towards the young man in white suit, especially after he overheard his last words that didn’t really make much sense. He was sure a guy who was THAT drunk wouldn’t resist much, he had been in similar situations many times with different people, and the outcome had always been in his advantage. How hard could it get this time?
And besides, there were a lot of other men and women around the place, if the white suit guy resisted too much, he wouldn’t really bother with it.
“Ah, what do we have here…?” He said quietly, looking over at Michael. “I think I might as well meet some people since I’m here anyway, right, Todd?” He smirked, getting up from his place again. “Wish me luck.” He gave Todd a wink, approaching Michael from his back and putting one hand on his shoulder. “Hello there, handsome, mind if I join you and your lady friend?”

Atlas's sudden laugh scared the crap out of Tamika. She then began to slowly move as far away from him as possible as he began to talk quite loudly about how he wanted to marry the chef. "Please, if there is a God, please make Atlas pass out so I can just drag him home. It will be a pain in the ass, but at least then he couldn't say or do anything."
Tonight had already frayed her nerves quite badly, so when Brad then leaned over and asked her if she wanted to sing with him, she got so startled that she almost fell off her chair. Tamika just barely saved herself by grabbing at the edge of the table. "York, you say a word and I swear I will go over there and cut your balls off." Sounding quite nervous, she said with a small smile, "Um, yeah. Sure Brad."
As soon as Ash agreed, Tamika almost jumped out of her seat. She then began to lead Ash to the door, looking quite relieved to finally get away from all those drunk people. "Yeah, you can come too, Emily," she called back to the table once she was almost to the door.
Once outside, Tamika leaned against the building smiling. After a few moments, Tamika simply stated, mainly to Ash, but she wasn't really looking at anyone, "Drunk guys are a pain in the ass."

Emily laughed at Atlas' proclamation of marrying the chef. "If anyone can make it legal Atlas I'm sure it's you!" She smiled and patted him on the back as he happily munched on his dinner.
Emily nodded to Tamika and Ashlin who were both already by the door. She'd better get a move on if she's going to join them in their girl talk outside. Before she left however she turned to Kevin who had just returned, "I thought you were never coming back!" She laughed, "But it looks like it's my turn to leave for the moment. Now don't go anywhere!"
She stood and said the the rest of the group, "I'm going to join Tamika and Ashlin outside for a bit. I'll be back in a couple minutes... Also, Todd slow down on the drinks I don't want to have to take your sorry bum home!"
In response Todd gulped down the remainder of his beer signaled their waiter for another. Emily sighed, shook her head and as she passed by his seat she leaned over and snatched Todd's car keys off the table. There was no way she would let him drive home, in fact from where she stood she saw many who were going to get the Wyatt cab service. Atlas and Michael didn't look to hot and of course Agent York would need a ride. It was a good thing her car could hold so many people!
Emily attracted York's attention over his mound of food, "Agent York! Let me know when you wish to leave...I can drop you off at the hotel!" she gave the table another small wave and quickly made her way outside.
There was a chill outside and Emily wished she thought to bring her jacket but was too lazy to head back inside to grab it. She at Tamika's statement and rubbed her arms to ease the goose pimples, "Yes drunk guys and girls can be a pain in the ass!"
"By the Ashlin, are you doing alright? You still look very flush, are you ill?"

Not quite sure how to respond to Tamika's comment, she was relieved when Emily beat her too it. However when Emily commented on her red face she was decidedly less so. Why was she was so flushed anyway? Yes Michael had touched her in a rather, less than appriariate place, but not until after she'd jumped in surprise, and he certainly hadn't meant to do so. She was actually a bit surprised he'd touched her at all, Michael didn't seem to like being touched. The only other time he'd touched her was . . .
Was after she'd told him about what had happened to her as a child! Of course! He must have realized, he was the only one who knew she was afraid of doctors after all. He'd been trying to comfort her. The thought left a pleasant warmth in the pit of her stomach, and though she was still a bit embarrassed she felt less. . . awkward, somehow. But could she tell Tamika and Emily all that? No, no of course not, just the thought of explaining why she'd squeeked like that left her feeling mortified.
"I'm afraid of doctors." she finally confessed, decided to leave out Michael's role in her current complexion. "I-I didn't know Brad was one until Agent York said something, and it was rather," she unconsiously clutched Bo-Bo a bit tighter "surprising." Looking down at her hands she began to fiddle with Bo-Bo, not meeting Emily or Tamika's gaze.

"Brad doesn't seem like a normal doctor," Tamika said simply. She then gave a small laugh and continued, "He doesn't seem like a normal ANYTHING to be perfectly honest. But I don't mean that is a bad thing. He's an alright guy. And I don't think he's a doctor in the medical sense. So you don't have to worry about him trying to shove pills down your throat or trying to determine just how fucked up your head is. All you have to worry about is him trying to be your friend, or in my unfortunate case, giving you a job." Tamika then made a tragic expression like as if him giving her a job was the worst thing in the world. Then she laughed a little again and finished, "Anyway, I don't think you'll need to be afraid of him."
Tamika then was silent for a bit. She really hoped that helped. Reassuring someone else was one thing she didn't normally do and she had no clue whether anything she said was actually reassuring. Then deciding to try changing the topic she looked down at the stuffed animal Ash held in her arms. "Is that Bo-Bo?" Tamika asked kindly.

Atlas was busy with his fish. He didn't know what was going on around him at the moment, nor did he even care.
However, before he knew it, it was gone. He looked around his chair and noticed that both Emily and Tamika were gone? Where did they go? Did they leave already? He didn't hear them get up and go.
He started searching the bar for them. However, it was easier said than done for the drunk lawyer. He had a bit of trouble navigating the bar. Additionally, he really couldn't make out any of the people in there as well.
After a bit of searching everywhere in the bar, including all of the restrooms, Atlas slumped back down in his chair, dejected that his only friends left after seemingly being scared off by him. He placed a hand over his forehead and quietly sipped his beer. After this one, he'd think about leaving soon.

Michael didn't react very much to all the girls getting up and leaving around him...but he did catch Ash's shy little glance. It made somethin deep in his gut tighten - unsure what to make of it, he turned back towards his drink, his cheeks going rather rosy.
...Of course, his attention was very soon drawn back away from the table when he suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder - he jumped a little, back drawing so straight it was nearly arched. He jerked his head around to see who had done it...and was surpised to find the newcomer purring at him, trying to ask if he could...sit down?
Dimly, he blinked his gray eyes, confusion furrowing his brow a little. He had no idea what the other young man was actually asking.
"...I...thought you were already sitting at our table?" He took a sip from his drink before he continued speaking. "With...too much weight on one side, it might be...structurally unstable...?" Did that make sense? I think it made sense. He gave a sharp wobble, his shoulder pushing back against Kevin's hand. The young man winced, recoiling from the motion into a weird sort of straight-backed lean on the table.

Emily walked over and gave Ash a big hug. "Don't worry Ash, we all have our freak out moments...I have to say I had one of my own today and that was rather embarrassing too if it makes you feel any better!"
Emily paused to pick at a loose thread on her sweater. She laughed a little and continued, "Except mine was in front of my boss, the Sheriff, and Agent York. It was pretty embarrassing...I-er practically hyperventilated this morning at a routine autopsy. Well at least Todd wasn't there to see it..."
"So I guess you can say I'm not too fond of those in the medical profession....either. Well, at least those who have to work with the dead!"
Emily, gave Tamika a smile. The poor girl looked so unsure of herself but from Ashlin's calmer expression it was clear her explanation had been a big help. "Tamika! The Hoff-er Brad sounds rather interesting, how did you two meet? I assume he's a Greenvale visitor as well?"

“Oh, dear, just look at you, you could sure use some vodka right now, it’ll clear your pretty head.” Kevin sat down near him pouring Michael some vodka he grabbed earlier.
Kevin was sure this was going to be an easy prey; the guy probably didn’t even remember his own name by now. “Might want to check it just in case.”
“Say, could you tell me your name? “ He smirked at Michael playfully, embracing him by his waist and pulling himself closer to him.

Ash was just a little, or well more than a little, surprised when Tamika and Emily both began trying to reassure her. It was . . . nice, being comforted like this. It wasn't something she was used to either, the closest she'd had to being comforted by a friend were Michael's rather awkward (but still effective) attempts. When Emily hugged her though, Ash wondered if this was what it would be like to have a big sister.
While Emily's story was comforting it was Tamika's words that really struck a cord with Ashlin. "you don't have to worry about him trying to shove pills down your throat" She couldn't know how real a fear that was for Ash, or that just having someone tell her that so casually, like it wasn't even a possibility, calmed her. "Thank you" It was direct to them both, and Ash couldn't bring herself to say more on the matter, because it was so alien to her. She'd be offered more friendiness in the past three days than she had almost her entire school expereince and she wasn't sure how to express how grateful she was for that.
Offering a slightly shaky smile to them both she told Tamika softly, holding up the little doll. "Yes, this is Bo-Bo."

"Yeah, he told me he was some sort of traveler," Tamika said, turning toward Emily. "Anyway, I saw him today in the diner. Well, he was kinda hard to NOT see, since he was wearing a pair of 3D glasses and a band aid on his forehead like it was a new fashion statement or something. So anyway, I talked to him for a bit, and then, right out of the blue, he offered me a job working for him with an income of $500 a week. Of course, I accepted and then a little later he gave me these." Reaching up, she pulled the 3D glasses off her head and showed them to Emily. "I don't know why though. He just said 'the red of the lenses matched the red of my hair'." Shrugging, she put the glasses back in her hair, not really knowing what else to do with them.
Turning back to Ash, she was relieved to see how much calmer Ash looked. "No problem!" Tamika told Ash cheerfully. When Ash held up Bo-Bo, Tamika looked at the bear curiously. She had never seen many people, even when she was a kid, walking around with dolls in their arms. Yet, Tamika didn't question unusualness of it. She was actually beginning to think that maybe unusualness is a good thing. It got her a job after all.
"He's very cute," Tamika said smiling. "I hope he helps you." Then she reached out and patted the doll's head, like as if it was a cute dog. "Anyways, if you're feeling better, do you want to go back inside now? Brad said he wanted to sing something with me." Then she shrugged again and finished, "Maybe we'll get lucky and this time I can sing with someone who knows what singing is."

York ate chili while watching Atlas stumble haphazardly around the bar. He seemed to be looking for someone, probably the girls who had just left, but it was apparent he hadn't found them as he fell back into his chair at the table. A sort of depressed haze had begun to accumulate around his head as he resumed nursing his drink.
<You think what the lawyer's doing could be considered "social drinking" as well?> the voice asked. <Looks to me like another escape route.>
"Good question, Zach. He seemed cheerful enough when we saw him at the hospital..." York leaned towards Atlas and said cheerfully, "Don't worry, Atlas, I'm sure they'll be back soon. Just wait here for a second. And help yourself to these poppers; they're so unbelievably crispy on the outside that the cream cheese filling will make you feel like you're eating a cloud!"
He got up and headed outside, having left his cigarette still smoldering in the ashtray. It wasn't long before he found the missing table members.
"Oh, hello again, Bo-Bo." He jerked a thumb back towards the doors. "Atlas is feeling poorly and he seemed to be looking for one of you ladies. Do I have any volunteers to take him home? I'd do it myself if both my arm and car weren't incapacitated, but he'd probably prefer a beautiful woman driving him rather than a one-armed FBI agent. I certainly wouldn't blame him if that were the case..."
He leaned towards Emily and added, "That is, if he's a warm-blooded male."
