Realized we don't have one of these, and we are steadily growing, so. XD' All very informal. I'll start. I'm your friendly neighborhood Mysterious Capitalist and the creator of this crazy place. XD' In the cBox you'll usually see me as Stewart, but on other sites my usual handle is Lady Vincira. Been RPing for over ten years now. I also play sometimes on the mod accounts for Brian, Kaysen, and the Shadows. By day, I'm a keyholder at a video game store. I've been a gamer since I was six, and I've got the Weighted Companion Cube from Portal tattooed on my shoulder (no joke). By night, I'm something of a jack of all trades. Basically, if it's artistic, I've probably got my hand in it - my writing and my singing being the strongest, but I do also cosplay, draw, crochet, and make jewelry for the little business my best friend and I run. If you're curious, you can peek at that here: www.artfire.com/users/NerdTastic (We're working on hatching a DP themed line of stuff right now. XD) I'm in the Pacific Northwest. No, really. Two hours from Seattle. I'm online late, as a general rule, being a night owl and a late riser. I'm friendly, I like to think I'm pretty nice, and...I've been writing Silent Hill bits for about three years, so I'm CERTAINLY no stranger to horror. >=D Sense of humor is, perhaps, a little warped, but please don't be afraid to approach me with questions. And yes, for the curious, you do get used to the rhyming. XD'

I'm Wes, your other mod. Everywhere else online I'm Glace Leau, which is the nonsense name of one of my first RP characters. I play Wes (duh) and can also play the mod accounts if need be, though I am not as awesome at it as Stewart. Unlike my character, I will not bite. Feel free to throw any kind of questions or conversation my way. I have a tendency to lurk and not speak much unless spoken to, but I try! I take a very long time to do everything, I am sorry about that. Outside of RPing I enjoy drawing, spriting and a lot of crafty stuff. I am a creepy doll person who collects a lot of different dolls to customize (repainting, hair restyling, swapping around body parts...) and turn into characters (preexisting or made for the doll). I also like other toys like Lego and Busou Shinki. I am secretly five years old. You can find my drawings, including ones of AU (or regular universe, I guess) Wes and his brother over at my deviantART, and doll photos, including pictures of the same (weirdly enough) at my Flickr. Boring list of some stuff I like: Deadly Premonition (of course) Top Gear, Kingdom Hearts, Xena: Warrior Princess, Phoenix Wright, Hanna is Not a Boy's Name, Final Fantasy II, IV and VI, Pokemon, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the Earthsea series, and soap operas. I have probably forgotten things. I have bizarre fascinations with gloves, ghosts, turtlenecks, scythes, bottomfeeding fish, wheelchairs, and missing eyes. Like Stewart, I live in the Northwest. (We know each other IRL; shock!) I am also on later in the day, which is pretty annoying when you live in a time zone earlier than everyone else's I'll have you know. =#

Alrighty, I'm Tamika, the RP's redheaded midget. Elsewhere on the interwebs I'm known as either TYgirl (stupid name I made up at midnight while registering to the first forum I ever went on) or Blue (uhh...I like blue!). This is technically the second RP I've ever been on, though on the first I only made one post before it died.
Offline, I'm a geeky sophomore in high school. I've been pen and paper RPing since I was 7, but didn't actually become a video gamer until I was 9. No tattoos, but I have a jersey which says "FK Coffee" on the back. I wish I could have fit "in the" in there, but I don't think that would help with the fact that EVERYONE now asks me what it means. Ok, I've gone off on a tangent, sorry.
I'm not very artistic, but I love sketching people anyway. I also love listening to music, reading, doing yoga, and editing photos. Singing is one of my favorite things to do, even though I am a sucky singer. In my free time, besides all the things I mentioned above, I enjoy cooking up the most random conspiracy theories (currant favorite is the one with the big stupid jellyfish). I also enjoy writing about different ways people can die or go insane. I don't know why, but I find it weirdly fascinating. Moving on...
I live in the Midwest, in a small town in Illinois. And yes, there is corn EVERYWHERE here. My highschool has a cornfield right outside XD. I'm usually on from 6-midnight Central time and pop on for a little bit before school in the morning. This is anticlimactic but since I've run out of things to write I shall just stop typing.

Alright, introduction time.
I'm Atlas, the weirdo lawyer. I've used a variety of names on the internet, such as Chinese Infantry, AtlasEXE and even more in the games I play. I've done a few RPs before, for games including Perfect Dark and Ace Attorney
I'm also quite a bit of an oddball in real life, though I try to hide it in the company of certain people. I'm a student studying video game design. My current project is about an author who is suffering from Early-Onset Alzheimers.
I also play quite a few games, and some of my favorites include Fallout 3, Oblivion, Team Fortress 2, Deadly Premonition (duh), Saints Row 2, the Ace Attorney series and Counter-Strike. For some reason, I roll female characters often in RPGs and MMOs, though I am quite open about my real life gender.
My other real life interests include: hiking, mountains, dogs, coffee, tabletop games and really bizarre humor. I listen to several different kinds of music, but enjoy quite a bit of rock and rap.
Being on the East Coast puts me quite ahead in the time zone from most of you, though I try my best to stay on and active.

Hi, I'm Jen, a.k.a Polly. Known in various other places as Timelady. (along with about 400 other people. Thinking of original names? Apparently not my strong suit.) I've been in a couple of other RPs, but they...didn't end well. One of them didn't end well to the point where I didn't think I was going to come back to RPing. But hey, here I am.
I like to read, knit badly, and play games. I don't actually have an XBOX, but I've seen enough Let's Plays and other material to completely fall in love with Deadly Premonition. Other than that, though, I really don't play a lot of horror games. Except Penumbra. And Dark Fall. And...
Anyway, I'm a born New Englander, and I'm waiting anxiously for the first snow. I'm also kind of the opposite of an insomniac; I sleep a lot but I never schedule enough time for it. If you notice me getting exceptionally silly, that's probably the reason. Well, one of them anyway.
Due to some latent masochistic tendency or another, I'm currently a grad student. I'm studying Library Science because I love working with books. I'm kind of trying to remind myself that writing can be fun too, but it gets kind of difficult after 5 years of college. Especially when the undergrad part was for an English degree.
So, yeah. That's me.
Hi!

::waves:: I'm Bree, better known as Eris/Charlotte Jacobs. Elsewhere on the internet I go by Eris (and variations thereof), something from mythology, names borrowed from Dungeons and Dragons books, or Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman (it depends on what's available where). This my first online RP in a while, though I've been a regular table top gamer for a while (Forgotten Realms and Eberron for the win! 3.5, of course). Fell in love with Deadly Premonitions after a friend recommended it to me, and I went out and bought it, without knowing anything other than the title and that the main character sees fortunes in his coffee. It took me a while to get around to opening the package, but my first foray into Deadly Premonition was when I went to visit a friend of mine a few hours away. We threw it in his Xbox... and proceeded to boggle at the opening cinema scene. Then came York, driving, smoking, talking on his cell and using his laptop all at the same time... and I knew I was in love. ;D The monkey squirrels just cinched it. I live in the Midwest, in Iowa. Where I'm a sort of employee of an office supplies store (long story), a perpetual student (currently intending to transfer to the University of British Columbia... someday), book reader, a lover of bad movies (which, if given the chance I will GLEEFULLY share with/subject my friends to). Um... what else... OH! I'm an actor, and absolutely adore being onstage. I haven't done movies or television, but I hope someday to try it all. My favourite playwrights are Noel Coward and William Shakespeare. I've been known to randomly drop into a British accent. My favourite author is Neil Gaiman. I enjoy taking photos, and I mainly take a crap ton of them while doing a show. I like documenting the process. And we actors are WEIRD, so I end up with entertaining shots. I've begun getting interesting in toy cameras, like the Golden Half; though it's weird using film again. I tend to ramble, both in person and in text. Only in person you get a lot more gesturing and talking with hands. Also... I'm an absolute night owl.

I'm Whitney and I play Deputy Sheriff Emily Wyatt. I learned of the Sinner's Sandwich RPG after Stewart made a post about it on my DP forum, Greenvale Community Center. This is my first online RPG and writing is not one of my strongest skills. As a big Deadly Premonition fan I thought this would be a great way to practice creative writing, and I have to say I always thought the idea of a RPG always sounded like fun when I saw others talk about it. The structure of the game is still pretty new to me but I'm slowly learning by watching how the other players interact. For how I got into DP I shall direct you to this page Online I usually just go by my name, Whitney, I know not very wise right? All my early webpages used my name as well "Whitney's Page of Stuff" "Whitney's Anime Doll Collection" "Whitney's insert subject matter here. Well I never really got around to making an internet handle these past 18 years and it feels weird to try to do so now! sure most people though Whitney was my handle lol. But hey I'm proud I've finally moved on from inserting my name in every site I make now! So long story short, if you see a Whitney in any Deadly Premonition or Silent Hill forum it's most likely me. Speaking of websites I actually run a couple: Welcome to Greenvalel - A Deadly Premonition Fan Site Silent Hill Historical Society - A Silent Hill fan site formerly known as Always on My Mind. At first it was dedicated solely to Shattered Memories but after the announcement of SH8 I have since decided to expand to include the other games as well. Silenthillcollection.com- Collection site for my Silent Hill merchandise Silent Hill Experienced- I'm also part a a fan made SH video podcast and run our website. I also have started doing Let's Plays of my favorite games, including a 100% completion of DP on my website related youtube channel: shshatteredmemoriesI have another account that I use to display my collection videos porkbun82I'm also a staff writer on HellDescent.com and Silent Hill Heaven. I've always been a big fan of video games since I was little. I played somewhat (first game I beat was Maniac Mansion on the NES) but had mostly watched my older siblings play for the stories. I didn't really become a gamer on my own until freshmen in high school and received my first video game console (of my own) the Sony Playstation. Since then I've become a huge fan of the survival horror genre especially the Silent Hill and Resident Evil series. By day I'm a graphic and flash designer for a tech company in San Jose and spend my days creating, flash ad banners, logos, packaging, ads and other promotional items. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and will most likely frequent this place in the evenings after work.

Awesome I was waiting for this. I'm known around most places on the net as Mai! I just recently joined as my original character, Bianca White, of course. I found this forum when exploring the Planet Redwood website! I love RPing (been roleplaying since fifth grade-- the horror, I know) and I love Deadly Premonition so this was like an early birthday present to me. I'm actually in a few RPs on Livejournal, but I tend to be a fast tagger, so I'm not too worried about the pace here, especially since it's nice and brand new here to me. I do not own an Xbox 360, so I haven't played DP sadly, but I followed two play-throughs of it, one of them being the well-known Giant Bomb Endurance runs, which gave me a good experience of that first taste of Greenvale and our special FBI agent. The next playthrough was Whitney's 100% let's play of the game! (Small world huh?) Right now I'm following another 100% LP of Deadly Premoniton on the Something Awful forums. I'm a college student from southern California majoring in art, whose hobbies include drawing, writing, video games, anime, manga, and reading. I only own a PS2, but I love reading up on video games for no reason other than I enjoy knowing about them. On the internet, I am all over the place, don't be surprised if you find me somewhere random. My love for anime and manga is pretty obvious as it is my default art style. You can see most of my art here: DeviantArtAnyways, hope to have some fun and let this be a nice relaxing RP game.

I'm Animagess and I run the Deadly Premonition fansite Planet REDWOOD. PR was my first attempt at putting together a website and this is pretty much my first RP; I think I dabbled in it once like seven or eight years ago, but nothing since then before SS came along. I have been steadily writing DP characters in my ongoing novelization of the game though, so it wasn't too big of a transition. I discovered the game after it was mentioned on the Top Down Perspective podcast and things snowballed from there. You can find my other artistic crap here (though it's only my fanart, I tend to keep my online work separate from my real world stuff). Time-wise, I usually have to go to bed a little earlier than most of the other posters, but I try to keep up fairly regularly. There might be stretches where I don't post as often due to homework, but generally I can usually make the time even when I don't think I'll be able to. In real life, I'm a Canadian college student in my final year of a classical animation degree program. I don't have a lot of hobbies outside of animation, movies, reading, trying to watch every canceled TV show in existence, novelizing video games, etc. so I don't have a lot to talk about. Errrm... Yup, that's pretty much it. Pleased to meet you all! ;D

I'm Taylor, aka Gabriel.Everywhere else on the web i am either HeartsForBreakfast or Loserfayce. I obviously like openly mocking and degrading myself. I'm from Australia. My middle name is Helena. I'm freakin' tall for a girl. I love my girlfriend to bits. I love to draw. I love forensic science and chemistry. I like being a dork. I don't like having freckles. I love to RP, but have never been part of a community quite like this. I finishing up my last year of high school and preparing to go to university for my Master's degree in Pharmacology. I have done work experience for the NMI (Australia government labs) in Forensic pharmacology. Id' rather be playing videos games but *laughs* I can't make a living off of that.

I've been meaning to post in here for a while, but I'm forgetful. :B Since I can't sleep, I'll do it now, hooray.
I'm Kanta (one of many internet handles). A/S/L: 22, F, Florida. I used to roleplay terribly all the time when I was younger, then I grew out of it and only roleplayed with very close friends, tried writing stories but I hate writing (makes all the sense in the world), and now I'm here because I thought it looked awesome. I'm enjoying it a lot so far and I can't wait till the Raincoat Killer business goes down.
I have never played Deadly Premonition myself. Not by choice, but because I lack a 360. The first LP I watched was on YouTube and thinking back on it, it wasn't very good... no sidequests were covered, the game plot was plowed through with only the standard FBI handgun, and there was no amusing or insightful commentary. Despite that, I really loved what the game was going for and was totally charmed by it.
The second LP I've seen for this game is something I'm currently following on SA (the guy who's doing it is great, I loved his ILLBLEED LP as well). Good stuff.
I have attempted the Sinner's Sandwich. I say attempted because I didn't have the exact ingredients. Chicken instead of turkey and Golden Grahams instead of the recommended Corn Flakes (that's boring, don't make a boring sandwich, don't have a boring life). It was good -- I mean, for a sinner, of course.
I need to stop yammering and try to sleep again. Yes! It's great to meet you all and I look forward to RPing more with everyone.

Since there's only so much I can do right now in terms of actual RP - and I don't intend (though that's never stopped me from trying, waha) to bring the band back together in one night... Howdy there, all!
You can call me Glasses outside of RP. It's what no-one everyone calls me! I also am based in the left coast, and it's kind of cool to see so many people both from the region, and afield! If ever you find yourselves visiting, let me know - I live in a pretty remote place myself, so I do get a bit of the country thrill from showing people around. I'll be playing - if accepted as drafted - Victor Vandebosch, your friendly neighborhood non-red-seed horticulturist. Because not everyone who works with plants is Kaysen, waha!.. Should that be spoiler'd? Is there a spoiler tag here..?
I write for a living, but am also involved in political and local concerns - when I don't develop random crippling phobias of leaving my house for a day or two, haha! Mostly joking, there. I love reading, writing, video games, and though I cannot create visual art myself - barring a few pretty awesome 'zine covers if I do say so myself - love art. All of which are why I love Deadly Premonition as much as I do. Speaking of which...
Frankly, I didn't even know this game was popular. I don't read review sites or anything like that, though I do watch a good LP from time to time - I'll be eagerly watching all'o yours as I stretch my hands out to find material enough to convince a certain holdout family member to just cave in and play the game already. Back to the first sentence here - wow, there are some cool sites and stuff here. I kind of want to respond to everyone, but I don't know who all drops by still; so just shoot me a reply if you're interested in my take on something! Since I just saw Whitney + Jan around, I am going to reply to a few things the two of you said.
Jan - Library Science, woo! Also knitting. I would love to be a better knitter (and sewer and patcher) but my skills are mostly limited to things that do not involve needles. Maybe some day, he said wistfully... I'm also an insomniac, though I wonder if Deadly Premonition might not have been made with insomniac's in mind..? I'd like to sleep more regularly, but sometimes it just seems like I can't afford to, and then I stress out about it more... How about you?
The trick I've found, is to never write about the stuff you wrote about in College, even if it matches up with your field of employment! Of course, I've become famous for my tangents (and not always in the positive), so keep in mind that's pretty questionable advice... Great taste in games, I loved Dark Fall but felt somewhat eh about Penumbra, preferred Amnesia: The Dark Descent, myself. Might I recommend the old Call of Cthulhu games if you can find a way to play them or watch them via LP, and of course Silent Hill? Good luck with Grad and any future endeavors!
Whitney - Chalk me up to watch your LP('s?) later! From what I've seen of your sites - wow, great design. I've got to admit, Shattered Memories left a pretty bad taste in my mouth because of how much I <3 LOVE <3 Silent Hill I and III - to me, it took characters I'd grown up with and stories I'd loved, and turned them into one of the Silent Hill movies. ;D That, and although I was excited for the whole 'no-combat' thing, in execution it reminded me of Heavy Rain... I actually felt it was less empowering, in a way. That's not me criticizing it as a bad game though - just me crying because I loved the prior ones so much. It was still a solid game, and speaking of...
Woah, pretty killer taste! Maniac Mansion... Now there's a classic, Zach. 1987. Lucasarts. I still fondly recall my many deaths and failures! Who was your favorite character, or did you love all of the main cast equally? From what I've seen browsing around, your writing seems very solid - RP is something that's best learned through play and practice, and you seem to be on the write path!
Finally, I can't be certain if I saw you around, but -
Atlas - If you're Chinese Infantry, I shall offer my Russian Artillery support, waha! And yet again, great taste in games. Perfect Dark was an amazing shooter. Still is. And Ace Attorney? Now that's a series that never fails to bring a smile to my face. My best friend suffers from a form of EOA - so thank you for considering writing about someone who suffers from that. If it's all right, that's all I'll say on the matter. Onto writing in general!
It can be good to write characters different than yourself - different genders, races, perspectives... I find one of the best things RP does is shake up my own perspective, keep it from getting 'stale'. I try to think - what would character x do? Why? What combination of circumstances shaped that perspective..? It's wonderfully fun, and very interesting. What do you think?
And to all, a cup of coffee via these fine webs. I'll take mine black with neither sugar nor cream. I really hope to see you all around, and even if you just want to discuss DP or whatever is on your mind, I'll be loitering against the walls here, trying to look cool. All the best!
'Glasses
Edit/PS:
I've had the Sinner's Sandwich. It was delicious. I'd add spicy ground mustard if you don't mind deviating from the 'authentic' recipe. But I mean, you're a sinner already if you're eating the sandwich, so mustard should be the least of your problems, right?*
