Original Character Application
Name: Bianca White
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Place of Residence: She lives in her parents house which is technically now hers since they live outside of Greenvale in their own home; she lives near the Ingram family a few houses away.
Type of Car: A blue Honda Civic VTi-L; license plate reads “RLSW33T”
Occupation/Skills: A pastry chef at a patisserie called “Sugar Rush.” She has decent culinary skills, but she’s also adept at playing the acoustic guitar. Her other hobby is sewing stuffed animals. She’s an enthusiastic reader and in her spare time, she can be found in her house, SWERY65 Bar, or at the A&G Diner reading a novel if she isn’t sewing or cooking. Bianca also seems to have a lot of odd food-related trivia and equally odd jokes stored up in her head.
Appearance: Picture Here
Caucasian, with short brown hair and periwinkle blue eyes. Her build is pear shaped, looks a tad bit pale. She won’t admit it, but she’s a bit embarrassed about having what she thinks are large thighs.
She tends to wear girly looking clothes, her wardrobe consisting of mostly dresses and long skirts paired with loose fitting tops. Her ears are pierced and she tends to wear and buy different pairs of earrings constantly.
Personality: She is usually a quiet and reserved young woman, but if one makes a good impression on her, she reveals herself to be a very friendly individual who has a surprisingly humorous, if not subtle, sarcastic side. Bianca has a kind disposition, for the most part and doesn’t go out of her way to cause trouble. She’s the kind of person who is also a good listener and has some surprising insight on people in general.
Her favorite conversations revolve around food and if given the opportunity, she will recite some random trivia related to the subject (Either that or a weird joke). Bianca enjoys the simple pleasures of life and goes about her daily routine and helping others out with a cheerful air. Her favorite pastime other then cooking is to make stuffed animals which she gives out as gifts.
Since Bianca’s usually so pleasant, it’s almost hard to tell what she’s thinking. She gets along with most everyone and likes having company around, but she tends to shy away from confrontation. Bianca, however, has a strong will which becomes more apparent when faced with a bad situation. Another part of her personality is her fear of being touched by men. Bianca gets uncomfortable if there is even the slightest bit of physical contact, but it doesn’t stop her from getting along with them and she’s been slowly getting over it for the past few years after college.
History: Bianca White was born as an only child to Frederick and Lily White, prior residents of Greenvale. When Bianca was born, she was fortunate to have a happy and calm childhood with understanding parents up until she was ten years old. Her parents’ relationship had been deteriorating and they ended up separating temporarily, with Bianca’s mother moving out of Greenvale.
Bianca spent weekends alternating between her parents. She was particularly uncomfortable about spending time with her father, Frederick. He never mistreated his daughter, but he couldn’t really be close to her either. Frederick often locked himself up in his room doing work while Bianca was alone to do what she wished. She amused herself by sewing and making meals for the two of them (which is how she learned how to cook, jumpstarting her baking skill). As a result, she rarely if never received any simple physical affection a father would show a child, resulting in her discomfort of physical contact from men.
This went on for several years until Bianca graduated from college and took cooking classes. She convinced her father, who had been repairing his relationship with her mother, to move out of Greenvale and live with his wife. She convinced him that she would be fine living on her own now that she had a job working at the patisserie, Sugar Rush. Being away at college helped her to develop good social skills that helped cheer her up and gave her the resolve to make sure her parents were happy and that she in turn would be the same with the rest of her life.
Although tragedy has struck Greenvale with the death of Anna Graham, Bianca continues to have a smile on her face and doing what she thinks she’s best at – making her fellow Greenvale citizens happy with the desserts she makes.
RP Sample: It was beginning to rain again. Bianca White sighed, brushing a strand of her hair behind her ear.
“Can’t go outside when it gets gloomy like this. Mom and Dad would never do that,” mused the young woman.
She hummed a small melody under her breath, as she drew her curtains to a close and turned on the lights in her home. Fortunately, she was used to being caught off guard by Greenvale’s weather. Bianca never had trouble finding something to do for another evening holed up inside while listening to the rhythm of the falling rain. The rain wasn’t a problem to her anymore. After all, Greenvale had always been her home so it was inevitable she would grow to like it in her own way. The pitter patters of the water droplets had been always been a pleasant tune to her, nature’s background music. She smiled and closed her eyes listening to the rain for a few seconds before going back on track on finding something to do.
Bianca had a new chocolate cake recipe she wanted to try out and several scraps of cloth and stuffing leftover to make a small stuffed teddy bear. First, the cake; she proceeded to gather the ingredients needed for the cake, but met a dead end when she realized she forgot to pick up milk and eggs from the Milk Barn.
No worries. She simply cleaned up her kitchen and went to her living room to take out her sewing materials—Along with a jar of peppermint candies. In an absent minded fashion, she popped a candy into her mouth.
“Peppermint is good for relieving stress,” Bianca said simply to no one in particular. She started to put a thread through her needle. The little creature she was about to create would probably be sent to her parents. They had to know she was doing well after all.
Everything’s fine for now. I’ve got no reason to worry for tomorrow. No reason at all…
