Time: Day Two, Afternoon
Weather: Rainy
Warnings: None.
Characters: Atticus "Atlas" Lasseter [CLOSED]
Atlas opened the door of his home, relieved to finally feel warm air once again. However, only once he stepped inside the comfort of his home did he realize just how drenched he was from going out in the rain all day. He removed his suit jacket and hung it up on the nearby coat rack, then headed for the kitchen. "Today was an interesting day." Atlas mused. "Not only did I meet the entire graveyard gang again, but also met several new people."
The most interesting of the bunch was definitely Forrest Kaysen. He certainly had a presence, both in size and speech. "He certainly seemed like the kind that enjoyed life." he thought. His dog was the real deal though. Willie was one of the nicest dogs he had ever met and he loved spending time with him. He placed down the box containing the carrot cake he bought. A late lunch is better than no lunch, he figured. First, however, it was shower time.
He headed towards the bathroom. Once he was there, he opened the door and turned the lights on. "I leave one rainstorm to enter another." he thought as he went for the showerhead and turned it on. While the water was heating up, he removed his clothing and threw it off to the side. Once the water was hot, he entered.
He allowed the hot water of the shower to soothe his body, clean off his skin and allow his mind to think. "I remember what I said to FK earlier." he thought. "I wasn't much of a green thumb. But those red saplings he was talking about sounded interesting. He said that getting them to sprout was a trade secret, though I bet he was just playing with my mind. Now that I think about it, my office is a bit drab. Maybe some greenery will spice things up." he thought as he ran shampoo through his hair.
After his shower, he put on a bathrobe and went to his bedroom. His next move was a bit confusing. ”In all honesty, I really should just curl up on the couch with my cake and enjoy movies for the rest of the day.” he thought. ”But I want to spice up my house and office. If it is sunny tomorrow, I’ll have to open the office, leaving no time for browsing. Screw it, the sooner it is out of the way the better…”
He went to his dresser and pulled out a long sleeve t-shirt and some jeans. There was no sense in getting another suit dirty and wet. On his way out, he looked as the pastry box, and grabbed it. “Looks like you’re going on a trip.” He said to the box. On his way out, he donned a black sweatshirt and hat. He then went out towards his car off to parts unknown…
