My Relevant Custom Doll Photos

You may know that I am a creepy doll person who likes to take dolls apart and put them back together differently. Here's some of my stuff that is relevant to this forum.

To start off, here's York doll:

I also have a Wes doll, who just got a new body, so here's a quick shot of him showing off his newfound ability to pronounce everything a-okay.



York is a Power Team Elite doll (or action figure if you prefer), while Wes is a High School Musical doll head (really! This was the doll of Zack Effron's (sp?) character.) on a GI Joe body. I repainted both.

I want to make dolls of more of the Deadly Premonition cast, and will as I find appropriate dolls at the thift store. (Both York and Wes come from Goodwill.)

Yes yes yes!! These are incredible! Is there a full-body shot of the York doll? Maybe you could get him a coffee mug accessory!

These dolls are amazing! Wes's smile is very creepy. I feel like he's about to pull out a gun and shoot me. Though that's not necessarily a bad thing. I love how York came out!

BTW I was wondering since Wes is your own character where did you get your icon? Did you draw it yourself or manipulate a different picture to look like Wes? I would love to see a full picture!

Animagess- Thank you! I'll take a fullbody shot once I get my photo area set up. That shot was taken in front of my monitor, so if I zoomed out you'd see my messy desk, hehe. I do have a nice white coffee mug, but it belongs to Wes' brother. York can steal it for photos though. There's a nice pistol he can borrow from my arms dealer, too.

Tamika- Thanks! Hehe, I actually used that doll because I thought, even when he looked like this, that his smile was pretty creepy. Definitely not genuine.

Whitney- Yay, glad I've inspired you! Apparently Power Team Elite guys like that can actually bought new pretty cheap at Big Lots, but there are none around here so I just get whatever is filtered through the thrift store... Finding "action figure" guys that look like him isn't too hard, especially if you're willing to shop online. (I don't like to, I am old-fashioned like that.)

I did draw a picture that I posted in my application, but I liked this icon because it matches the ones made from screenshots better.

Actually, if anyone wants me to make up a Sim of their character for an icon I can do that. I have an extensive custom content library and can probably get them fairly close.

First off, your York and Wes dolls are pretty damn awesome. I am loving the little details on York like the scars and the way his hair looks.

And I wouldn't have guessed your icon came from a customized Sim! That's really cool. Makes me want to draw him (even though my attempt at guys can be questionable, but dag nabbit I will do it :[ )
