"Well, to be honest, I'm not exactly a native of Greenvale." Atlas replied.
"I moved to town about a year ago. I used to live in the city, but some things happened, so I decided to lay low here for awhile. Besides, it's so peaceful here and the food is amazing." he added.
"Bianca White, that's a pretty name." he thought.
"I still haven't met everyone here. Though I did meet quite a few characters in the past few days..."

"Hm." Bianca put a finger on her cheek pondering.
"So I have been behind... I've sort of heard that there's been a few people here and there coming into Greenvale. It's a bit uncommon to be honest."
She began to prepare Mister Stewart's order by taking some strawberry shortcake and several chocolate eclairs and arranging them on the table behind the front counter. But it wouldn't hurt to have some chit-chat with Atlas.
"There used to be around 6000 people in the population you know. But I guess that was just the good old days that any small town like ours would see," Bianca said almost wistfully.
"Well, I hope to see these new people. Seems like I haven't been getting out much. And I'm glad you like the food!"

"No kidding!" Atlas replied. "Well, that would explain why several of the facilities here are quite large. The logging industry must have been quite lucrative."
he watched Bianca prepare a pastry order for Mr. Stewart. "She's quite the trooper. Holding down the fort during the rain, though who will manage the shop when she makes the delivery?" he wondered.
"Quite a few people I've met. Yesterday, I met a two redheads and a guy with a hawk in a graveyard. Odd place for a social gathering. I also met the town Deputy Sheriff, Emily Wyatt. Very pleasant person." he said. "And very easy on the eyes..."
"Today, I met a fat guy who sells tree saplings." Atlas added. "I have to say, I've never seen that many metaphors spewn since I read through the Alex Casey series."

"It was a big thing back then."
In went the strawberry shortcake.
"But thankfully it didn't get to the point where all the trees were taken down. We still got plenty of nature for people to enjoy here," remarked Bianca.
At the mention of the graveyard, even Bianca, who hardly let little things bother her, had to furrow her eyebrows. Even if the people were all unrelated for that incident that sounded a little too strange. Why would anyone hang out in a graveyard anyways...?
"Oh, yes the deputy sheriff. Emily's always been a pleasant person for an authority figure."
And didn't he also just mention something about a fat man...?
"Tree saplings... Oh. He's the salesman that comes around here every so often. I don't know him on a first-name basis I'm afraid, but he's a very nice person and most people here in town like him."

"For a logging industry that big, there must have been lots of trees here." he replied.
he watched her expressions while he talked. She seemed to change expression a bit when he mentioned the graveyard. Natural reaction. Graveyards don't exactly make for pleasant conversation.
He was surprised to hear that a lot of people in Greenvale liked Forrest Kaysen. "People like that guy? He's more annoying than an alarm clock at 6:00AM." he thought, then realized the metaphor he made. "DAMMIT, FK!"
"Well, he is certainly friendly, but can also be a bit...quirky at times. His dog, on the other hand, very good. It'd be worth being around him just to see the dog." he replied.

"True, the way he words things sounds completely made up at times. But otherwise, it's hard to dislike his demeanor. He's just a real cheerful guy whenever you happen to encounter him."
Bianca finished packing the eclairs as well and stood there tapping her cheek.
"And Deputy Willie is a very fun dog. Then again, I could never say anything bad about most dogs."
After taking a second to decide, she took out a third box and put in a well sized portion of mille-feuille with strawberries, something that was obviously not ordered. Bianca proceeded to take off her hairband, letting her brown hair bob up and down back into its natural place and then put her earrings back on.
"Well, it was nice meeting you Mr. Lasseter. I'm sure I'll be seeing you around more. Oh, and if there's anything wrong with the Sugar Rush's products, be sure to let me know. I'm the one who makes the majority of the goods here, but my co-workers and I are glad for any sort of feedback."

"Of course, Bianca. Have a pleasant day." Atlas responded.
He opted to head out before Bianca left to make her delivery. "Being alone in someone's shop isn't very professional" he though as he headed towards the car. The rain showed no signs of letting up. Atlas tried his best to keep the box dry as he reached for his keys, unlocked his car and opened it with one hand.
"Now, off to Greenvale Forest Park..."
