CityObserver: Ah! I haven't seen you online in some time. Was beginning to think something on one of your hunts may have overtaken you!

UnhiddenYeti: A bit of trouble getting transportation for the final trip into Washington, as the old jeep gave up the ghost in the middle of Idaho.

CityObserver: Oh, dear. That is a bit bothersome. Found something worthy, I hope? Some of the quieter backroads around here can be a touch demanding. Lots of hills.

UnhiddenYeti: No worries, I got a great land rover for a hundred dollars and one of the pieces I was bringing for display in the shop. It was the mounted deer head with with the bull horns. Never cared for that one, anyway.

CityObserver: Well! That sounds like some luck, then. Bit of a shame, though, rather would have liked to see that piece. It sounds interesting. Have you had any luck securing a proper place to stay while you're in town?

UnhiddenYeti: Not yet. Not horribly worried, if I have to, I can sleep in the shop. I've slept in worse places. Like that lean-to in the Amazon. Gah. I itch just thinking of that place. As much as the rain forest is important and all, it is a horrible place to sleep, and it's full of bugs that just live to kill people in terrifying ways.

CityObserver: I see. Hm...I wonder. You know, I'm certain I could pull a few strings. Find you some accommodations. It wouldn't be very much trouble, and I'm at least eighty percent certain that there would be less bugs inclined towards horrible mutilations.

UnhiddenYeti: I don't know. I find it helpful to approach life as if a hideous mutilation is lurking behind every corner.

CityObserver: Rightly so. Nonetheless, it would likely be better to sleep away from the chemicals. Sleeping in your taxidermy shop may worry some of the more sensitive citizens of the town, anyhow. Everyone is a touch on edge, and...well, they can be a bit...simple in their perceptions.

UnhiddenYeti: Such events always cause people to be on edge. In a small community, witch hunts are only a witch away. When did this horrible thing happen?

CityObserver: Too true. It was a murder, a little while ago...the community about the area is rather tight-knit. Came as something of a blow to many.

UnhiddenYeti: Ahh, I see. Perhaps we can speak about it more when we meet in person. It would be quite hospitable of you to arrange somewhere for me to stay, and I would very much appreciate it, my friend. In the mean time, I shall try not to upset anyone. I know I can come on a bit strong. And a bit off-putting.

CityObserver: That would be fine. Perhaps you could come to tea at my home once your shop is in place - just give me a notice and I will be prepared for you. I wouldn't worry so much about being off-putting...some would say the same about myself, honestly. We can only do so much not to damage those with thinner skin. I am certain you will be just fine.

UnhiddenYeti: That would be lovely. Here's hoping they get my shipment in good time.

CityObserver: Hopefully. The post around here can be a mite slow at times. Curse of a small town.
