(D5)[Construction Site] The Kill

Time: Day 5, Late Afternoon/Early Evening

Todd was so focused on his mission to track Emily down he didn't notice Tamika pull out behind him a short distance away.

The rainstorm was still coming down rather hard and it didn't look like it was going to let up any time soon. This meant Greenvale for all intensive purposes was a ghost town with everyone safely locked indoors.

Besides Todd's Ford and Tamika's Toyota there wasn't anyone else out on the road. This suited Todd just fine because at this moment he really didn't have the patience to deal with the slow ass drivers of Greenvale. Seriously, it seemed like everyone never had to be anywhere in a hurry and were satisfied to crawl at 25mph. Much to Todd's displeasure when he was running late to work. For once, since graduating school, that stupid superstition about the rain and some boogeyman was working in his favor.

Todd squinted through his windshield. With the current downpour it was really hard to see, well anything, and as he cross the Powell Bridge he started to second guess he decision. It was going to be hard to find Emily in these horrid conditions and for all he knew she could be at some John's house. Unknown to Todd at this very moment Emily was walking back into the GVSD lobby.

Hazard lights from a reddish SUV parked on shoulder of the road near the Electrical Substation soon caught his attention though. Todd slowed and peered inside the vehicles driver's side window and saw that there was no one inside. It definitely looked similar to Emily's Toughchap but Todd had failed to notice however that this car was a true red, not mauve, sported out of state plates and the lacked Christmas lights on top of the cab.

The Ford continued to pull forward slowly and Todd eyed the darkened Electrical station through his passenger side window with hopes of seeing a flashlight beam or a darkened figure moving through. But there was nothing. Everything was still.

As his car reached the corner of Bosh St and January Way Todd noticed that there were lights on at the Ingram's residence directly across the street from the station and through the closed curtain he could silhouettes moving back and forth. Could Emily be in there now meeting her John? Todd was surprised he thought that Rockabilly yahoo only had eyes for his wife but now that he thought about it it made sense. If Emily could seduce a great man like George for a job she could certainly convince a man like that to cheat on his wife. The poor guy wouldn't have stood a chance.

Just the possibility of Emily in there screwing Mr. Milkbarn was seriously raising Todd's blood pressure. With narrowed eyes he angrily wiped away the fog that had formed on his front windshield due to his heavy breathing. It looked like he was going to have to go in there and bust some heads!

Thankfully before Todd could take off towards the lit home a flash of lightning lit up the area and he caught sight of a lone figure slowly walking past the construction site up the street in the corner of his eye. Could it be Emily? Todd leaned forward over his steering wheel and focused hard. Whoever it was they were definitely female, clad in red and had golden blonde hair. Emily.

"Bingo..." Todd snarled. He slammed his foot on the gas and within a few seconds his truck idled beside the drenched young woman. Todd rolled his window down and took a closer look. If he was in his right mind he would have clearly seen that this was not Deputy Wyatt. Not even close. It was just a poor tourist who was illl prepared for Greenvale's frequent rainstorms.

She was young, early twenties and rail thin. Her blonde updo was completely plastered to her skull and her dark eye liner and mascara was streaming face from walking through the downpour. It would seem she was on her way to some sort of party. She wore a tight black leather mini skirt and knee high boots. Her fashionably cropped red leather jacket was zipped up all the way but did nothing to cover her exposed midriff which accentuated a small diamond piercing in her navel (which Todd immediately noticed). To complete the ensemble a thin silver chain belt was wrapped low around her boyish hips.

One red polished hand held a bright red plastic gas can while the other desperately clutched at the turned up collar of her jacket in an effort to hold in some warmth. It obvious wasn't doing much good as she was shivering.

But Todd's mind processed none of that. All he saw Emily shirking her duties in a short skirt walking to her next conquest now that her car wasn't working. Probably going to fuck one of the hobos like Tamika mentioned earlier that liked to sleep in some of the large pipes that currently littered the construction area.

While in reality a relieved, freckled brown eyed girl gave him big grateful smile at his sudden arrival. Todd saw a mocking smile and a knowing look that once again pushed him over the edge. Oh why does she insist acting like a prostitute?

"And just what the -"

A crash of thunder drowned out Todd's fuck

"...are you doing OUT HERE?"

Zoe Hooker

Zoe muttered a swear as her heeled boots once again got stuck in the mud. "Great! Just fucking great! It would be my luck that I would happen to run out of gas in some dinky little town in the middle of a downpour!" She pulled her cellphone out of a pocket with her free hand, her other currently occupied with carrying an empty plastic gas can. Zoe glared at the phone as she saw that she still had no service.

"God, what a fucking dump, to not even have any service. If I don't get to the gas station soon I'm going to miss the entire par-" Her thoughts were interrupted as she saw the headlights of another car. It took some squinting to see through the rain, yet as it came closer Zoe was able to make out the distinct appearance of a police car. Relief filled her body, thanking God that even in little pieces of nowhere, there where still cops with nice, heated, dry cars. She was about to raise her hand to wave at the driver when he pulled over next to her. Zoe smiled warmly at the blonde officer and pushed a wet piece of blonde hair out of her face. She was about to explain her predicament when he yelled at her.

Zoe's mouth hung open a bit and then she angrily replied, "Excuuuse me?!? Do I look like I'm out here for a fucking walk? I'm trying to get some gas dipshit since my piece-of-crap SUV went empty on me!" She waved her red gas can at the officer while saying this, so that even a dumbass like him could clearly figure out her intentions for being out here. Not like there would be many other reasons for her to be walking in the rain and wrecking her hair and makeup.

Putting her hands on her hips while still clutching the gas can, she asked, still sounding quite pissed, "Now, can you give me a lift to the gas station or not?"

Tamika pulled her Celica on to the shoulder as she watched Todd stop his car near some figure. "Who are you talking to, my blonde friend?" She squinted for a minute until she could finally make out the blonde updo, mini skirt and boots that the figure, who she could now tell was a women, had. "Ahhh, so Todd believes 'his girl' is putting out enough for him so he's going to get another whore. Wonderful. Maybe I can grab his pants after they get down to business."

As she continued to watch, she saw the woman wave something at Todd. "Is she demanding that he put the payment in that...gas can? I guess she must be having hard times." Tamika was a bit annoyed that she couldn't make out what they were saying, though she continued to squint through the rain, waiting to see how this deal would turn out.

Todd grit his teeth as Emily screeched and waved a gas can in his face.

AGAIN with the back talk. She was already walking a thin line with him today and her attitude right now was not helping. If anyone should be angry it should be him as he's the one that's caught her red handed skipping work.

Was Emily really that stupid to think he would personally drive her to get gas and then just let her go on her merry way to one of her johns? Well, given her hands on hips posture and demanding tone it looked like she was really that fucking stupid.

Todd's right eye started to twitch uncontrollably, his ears started to ring. He white knuckled the steering wheel in an attempt to resist the urge to unload his firearm in point blank range into Emily's pretty little face.

"Give you a ride? Todd laughed, "After that stunt you pulled this morning with me back at the office you are lucky I didn't just run your sorry ass over when I saw you."

Todd's eyes flicked down to Zoe's exposed navel and then back to face he drawled, "I seeeee.. Now that the cat is out of the bag about your extra curricular activities you aren't even going to try be discrete anymore..." His grip tightened further on the steering wheel and a small snap of cracking plastic could be heard. His eyes shifted away from the drenched girl and focused further down the street lost in thought and sadly shook his head. His jaw clenched and then without warning he exploded, " You are just going to rub it in my face now? AREN'T YOU?! AREN'T YOU!"

Headlights and the ignition to the truck were killed. Suddenly Todd threw open the driver side door and knocked the petite blonde down into the mud. Zoe's gas can and cell went flying and with the wind the can ended up skittering down the street.

Todd slammed the door and stepped over to the now red faced sputtering girl, crushing her cell phone, which had landed only a foot away after her fall. None too gently he yanked her to back her feet by her arm. Zoe gave a small squeak of protest and attempted pull away but he was just too strong for her. Pulling the unsteady woman closer and whispered in her ear, "You want a ride Em?" Angry tears were streaming down her face and Todd could practically smell her fear now, he smirked, she better be afraid. He ran his free hand ran down her spine and then roughly palmed Zoe's ass and again she tried to pull away. Todd jerked her closer and shoved a thigh between her legs. He gave her backside a hard squeeze and the moved further down and took hold of her thigh. He growled and said, "I'll give you a RIDE!" as he jerked her thigh up over his hip.

An unidentifiable noise in the distance distracted Todd briefly. Warily he glanced over his shoulder and had the sudden realization that he and Emily were still on the side of the fucking road where anyone could see them. Well, that wouldn't do. Not at all.

He let go of her leg, stepped back twirled Zoe around and took hold of her upper arm dragged her further into the construction site and away from any prying eyes. The heels on her boots made her stumble often and Todd was forced to carry most of her weight. When they were far enough inside safely behind one of the numerous piles of large white pipes he shoved her to the ground and loosened his uniform tie.

He was going to to teach Emily a lesson and this time no one was going to stop him.

Zoe Hooker

The blonde cop's response both pissed her more and confused her. "What the fuck are you talking about?!? What stunt?!? I've never seen you in my Goddamned life!" She was about to yell more when he flipped out at her again.

"What the hell is this idiot talking about? Extracurricular activities? Why do I have to have the shitty luck to get found by the one psycho cop in Washington?" "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!?!? I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE EXCEPT THAT YOU'RE A FUCKING DI-" Zoe's screaming was interrupted when the blonde cop suddenly opened his car door and knocked her to the mud. Her gas can flew from her hand down the street and she heard her cellphone fall from her pocket into the mud near her.

As she tried to pull herself to her feet, Zoe went right back to screaming her head off at the blonde cop. "WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM?!? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH THIS JACKET COSTS?!?" She watched as he crushed her cellphone, growing even more enraged at the cop, yet all her anger was replaced by pain as he lifted her by her arm and pulled her towards him. Zoe struggled against him and screamed even more at him to let her go, but he was just way too strong. As he whispered in her ear, she angrily replied, "Who the fuck is E-" Her words were once again interrupted as he began to grab her ass.

Fear poured into Zoe's mind. "He's going to rape me. He's going to rape me on the side of the road and possibly kill me. Why is this happening to me? This can't be happening to me. I'm too young to be raped and killed." Zoe cried and screamed with rage and terror as he jerked her thigh over his hip. Suddenly, she and the blonde cop heard a noise.

"Was that a car door?" She looked in the direction the noise had came from and thought she saw a figure in the dark. The blonde cop then twirled her around and forced her to stumbled further into the construction site, preventing her from seeing anymore. All the while she screamed at the top of her lungs for help, hoping and praying that maybe the figure she saw was a sane person who would save her from this psycho. When she was shoved on the ground, her attention focused back on the cop and how he was undoing his tie. "There's no way that person is going to save me from being raped," Zoe thought despairingly, "though maybe I can at least delay the inevitable."

Zoe cried tears of fear, anger, and despair as she yelled at Todd, "Why are you doing this to me?!? I thought cops where supposed to be good people who didn't just decide to fuck random people! Are you a fake cop who tricks people and then rapes them?!?"

Tamika watched as negotiations continued between Todd and the whore. From the whore's stance and the fact that she wasn't getting in Todd's car, it appeared to her that Todd was apparently unwilling to pay whatever the price is that she wanted. "You'd think that if he was this desperate to screw someone, he'd pay up. But I guess not."

She was a bit shocked when Todd suddenly threw open his door, knocked the whore down, and cause her gas can to fly down the street toward Tamika's car. She supposed that Todd must have decided nothing was the only price he'd pay as she saw him pull the whore up and yank her against him. Deciding that she'd waited long enough to go out, Tamika pulled Atlas's gun out of the glove compartment, not bothering to close it after doing so. She opened her car door and was going to shut it gently when the wind suddenly slammed it shut.

"God-fucking-damnit!" Tamika swore in her head, though to her relief Todd didn't appear to notice her. The whore, on the other hand, looked directly at her. Tamika wanted to believe that there was no way the whore could see her in the dark during the downpour, yet part of her could feel the whore's eyes on her, begging her or anyone else to stop this psycho. Part of Tamika wanted to fire at Todd and stop him right then, but she forced herself to remain an observer for now.

"She should have known the risks when she chose to be a whore. It's not my fault that one of her customers has decided to not pay." Tamika still felt guilty though as she watched Todd forced the whore to stumble behind a pile of pipes and listened to the whore scream for help. Once they were behind the pipes, Tamika silently walked forward towards the pile, forcing herself to listen for anything Todd or the whore might say.

Todd's hand dropped from his half undone tie and he stared hard at the woman at his feet at her accusation of not being a real cop.

He slowly circled the hysterical woman, "What was that Emily? What did you just say? ME A FAKE COP?! Please... don't make me laugh!" He gave a bitter chuckle.

"I'm more of a cop then you've ever been Princess. In fact I was on the fast track to being the Sheriff's #1 before you had to go and join the force and FUCK UP my entire future!"

Todd started to pace, all thoughts of giving Emily the "ride" she so wanted forgotten at the moment.

"You know back then I had admired your courage to join the boy's club that is until George had to go and start playing favorites. No matter what I did it was only you he saw. Always there to give you encouragement and approval when none was given to any of US!"

Todd leaned down shoved to fingers into Zoe's face, "I HAD TWO YEARS OF TRAINING ON YOU. TWO! And he still picked YOU to be his right hand!" He stood and resumed his frantic pacing, his hand clenched and unclenched. "I couldn't understand it! Why would someone as great as the George Woodman pick such a sub par candidate like you?"

"But oh it became clear pretty fast. There were rumors you know...rumors about him trying to get with you when you were in high school. You turned him down. Understandable, what 16 year old would want a 30 year old cop for boyfriend?"

Todd shook his head, "I paid those whispers no mind at first because I knew the Sheriff was better then trolling Greenvale High for some ass but after your promotion it just made too much sense."

"You used that soft spot to your advantage spread your legs and gave him what he's always wanted just to jump ahead of those more deserving."

"You're dirty whore! Always have been!" He kicked some mud at Zoe and laughed at her mud splattered form, "HA! At least NOW you look the part!"

Zoe Hooker

Zoe stared both shocked and angered as the blonde cop proceeded to yell at her without giving her anytime to say anything. Confused questions ran through her mind as his rant went on and on. Who the hell was Emily? Who was George? And, most importantly, why the hell is he yelling all this shit at her? She had never done anything to him and yet he had just suddenly decided to berate her and rape her for shit that she had never done. When he called her a dirty whore and kicked mud at her, something in her snapped. Zoe knew there was no way she could do anything to him, but she'd just had enough of this guy. No one kicks mud on Zoe Hooker!

"I'M NOT EMILY YOU FUCKING MORON!!!" Zoe screamed at the blonde cop. "I'VE NEVER EVEN BEEN TO THIS SHITHOLE OF A TOWN BEFORE! I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT ALL THE CRAP IN YOUR LIFE! ALL I CARE ABOUT IS THAT YOU WRECKED MY OUTFIT AND NOW I'LL NEVER GET TO THE PARTY!"

Her rage somehow gave her the strength and bravery (or stupidity) to stand up and shove her finger in his face while still screaming at him. "AND FROM WHAT YOU SAID, EMILY SOUNDS LIKE A GODDAMNED ANGEL COMPARED TO YOU! I'D TAKE A WHORE OVER A FUCKING DOUCHEBAG ANYDAY! NOW GO BACK TO CRYING YOURSELF TO SLEEP BECAUSE A GIRL IS BETTER THAN YOU AND LET! ME! GO!" Then she did something really stupid and bitchslapped him. Though she wasn't the strongest person ever, she could make out his cheek reddening a bit. A small bit of satisfaction filled her at the sight, though her satisfaction would be short lived...

Tamika listened to Todd's rant, though the first part of it made her stop in her tracks. "Emily? That's Emily I saw? Oh my God, I know Todd told me she was a whore, but I guess this just clinches it." She continued moving toward the pile when she heard a very loud female voice scream that she wasn't Emily.

"So she's not Emily? What the hell is going on back there?!?" Running the rest of the distance to the pile, pretty sure that the rain would cover any excess noise she made, she stealthily looked behind the pile of pipes. Tamika watched as the blonde whore scream in Todd's face about who Emily was a hell of a lot better than him and then bitchslap him. In her mind, Tamika cheered the whore while smiling smugly.

"It's about time some slapped that bastard! Even if she's a whore, this woman is now my favorite person in Greenvale." Though while she cheered the whore, part of her knew that slapping Todd would most definitely not end well for the whore.

What Zoe said was not getting through to Todd at all. He was too far under by this point and in his red seed drugged state of mind he heard what he wanted to hear.

"WHATEVER YOU MORON!..." Zoe screamed but it was a phantom Emily Todd heard and saw.

"...You just can't handle the fact that I'm just fucking better." Emily smirked and flicked her mud splattered hair back. "I was just smart enough to bring all my assets to the table to get what I want."

She stood and came closer, "Back then it was working for George buuuuut I've come to realize now it's just not enough. You see George is small time and only just a small step to bigger and greater things for me." Emily smirked, "You were right earlier Todd, I do have my eyes on a bigger prize now."

She licked her lips and purred, "That FBI Agent, mmm I've always loved a man in a suit." She grinned and tapped her chin, "I think I would do nicely working for Uncle Sam...don't you think so Todd?"

She giggled and then shoved a finger in his face, "You CAN HAVE this stupid little gig TODD! I'm tired of this SHITHOLE OF A TOWN!"

Emily cocked her head to her side, "But maybe that's not what you want now is it TODD? We both know this right now is not about your fucking career."

A manicured finger trailed down his chest, "Awww... you gonna to cry when I'm gone?"

Emily rolled her eyes, "PAAA-the-tic. You really thought you had a chance with someone like me?" Her eyes gave Todd the once over. "HAH! I'D TAKE A BEING WHORE OVER A FUCKING DOUCHEBAG LIKE YOU ANYDAY!"

Then Emily slapped him, "TIME TO WAKE UP pretty boy! Time to face the facts: I DON'T WANT YOU and I NEVER WILL! Go back to your groupies and back to crying yourself to sleep because A GIRL IS BETTER THAN YOU."

Todd reeled back and put a hand to his cheek. How dare she slap him! He was the one who was supposed to be in control here, not her! Emily stood in front of him with a wide grin, like she's won and he was nothing. Well, Todd wasn't going to let her win this time. He was going to show her she fucked with the wrong man.

They both hit the ground hard when Todd tackled her. They rolled a bit but he kept his full weight on her so she couldn't wriggle away. Todd sat up and pinned Emily's arms down above her head and straddled her waist. They were still a moment before Todd let go of Emily's wrists and took hold of her shoulders and started frantically to shake her. He screamed, "WHY DON'T YOU WANT ME EMILY! I'm FUCKING AWESOME AND YOU ARE JUST A STUPID CUNT WHO CAN'T COOK!"

Angry tears streamed down Todd's face and he was breathing hard while Emily on the other hand continued to cackle. How dare she think this was funny?

To shut her up Todd brought his lips forcefully down on hers. His kiss was brutal but also one of desperation but Emily wasn't moved by his passion and continued to laugh at his misery.

It was then Todd decided he wouldn't let her go, not now and not ever.

Large hands locked around Emily's slender neck and squeezed. He screamed in her face, "FINE! IF I CAN'T HAVE YOU EMILY NO ONE WILL!" Emily stopped laughing then and clawed at his hands.

He grinned and increased the pressure but then suddenly as if under a trance he let go. One hand reached into his back pocket and he pulled out a switchblade. He looked at it quizzically for a moment and tossed it aside. It fell back near where its red headed owner was currently hiding. A mere knife wasn't what he wanted and he reached inside again and pulled a small plastic bag filled with small red seeds.

Todd smiled.

He pitched Emily's nose closed with one hand and them took a small handful of the seeds in the other. When she began gasped for air he slammed the handful seeds down her throat and covered her mouth with both hands. Emily gagged but eventually she swallowed them all down.

Todd shoved the plastic bag with a few remaining seeds back into his pocket and then took hold of her neck once again and squeezed. He whispered, "This is all your fault you know. It didn't have to come to this... Look what you are making me do to you...I won't let you go Emily."

He smiled when her laughing eyes bulged and her lips started to turn blue from the lack of air. He was finally having the last word and took great satisfaction in watching the light slowly vanished from her eyes. It was all over in mere moments. Todd let go of Emily's neck and gave her one last kiss.

Then he stood over Emily Wyatt's dead body and laughed. He was free.

Zoe Hooker

Zoe actually grinned as he reeled back. "Hah! You messed with the wrong chick, you fucking asshole!" Part of her almost thought he might just let her walk away, that she'd actually won. And then he tackled her.

She yelped as they both hit the ground. Zoe tried to get away, but her had her pinned down. There was nothing she could do as he grabbed her shoulders and screamed in her face. When he finally stopped, she yelled at him some more.

"HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU?!? I'M! NOT! EM-!" Suddenly, he kissed her forcefully. Terrified and full of rage, she screamed into his mouth and flailed her arms and legs, trying to hurt him anyway she could, though none of what she did appear to have any effect. Then his hands began to crush her neck while he still screamed at her and called her Emily. Zoe's mouth opened and closed as she tried to breath, yet couldn't get any air. She was sure that she would die then, when he suddenly let go of her neck.

Zoe loudly gasped and tried to squirm away from him, though his weight still held her in place. Her mind panicked as he pulled out a knife and tossed it away, as slitting her throat would be too good for her. "OhGodohGodohGodohGodIDON'TWANTTODIIIIIIE!!!" Then he pulled out a bag of...were they sunflower seeds? She was a bit confused as to what he planned to do until he shoved a handful of seeds down her throat.

Zoe punched and clawed at Todd, trying with all her might to get away from him and not swallow whatever it was he shoved down her throat. Though in the end, she was forced to swallow she could breathe, yet then he just began choking her again. Pathetically, Zoe tried to pry his hands off her throat, yet he was too strong. There was nothing she could do to stop him. Nothing at all. Slowly, a dark blanket seemed to settle over her mind as she slipped into emptiness and death.

"Please...no...I can't...no..."

Tamika watched as Todd tackled the whore to the ground. Confusion filled her mind as she listened to Todd's screaming. "Is he trying to take out his anger at Emily out on this whore? But then why does he seem so damn convinced that she is Emily? What the hell is going on?" Tamika's confusion grew as he then kissed the whore, wondering why Todd was doing any of the shit he was doing. Tamika then began to try and get the safety undone on her gun. It was clear the he had no idea she was there and she hoped that maybe she could get the drop on him, get her switchblade back, and then she and the whore could go off to the police to have him arrested. Tamika glanced up while still struggling with the safety, when she saw something that made her stop. He was holding her switchblade.

"OH MY GOD! IS HE GOING TO KILL HER WI-" Her answer came sooner than she thought as he tossed her switchblade aside like it was nothing. A dilemma than appeared in Tamika's mind. She could easily just sneak forward, grab the switchblade, and then head out of there without having to confront Todd at all. Yet, that would mean leaving the whore to be raped by Todd. Tamika glanced at the whore and Todd and saw that he was still trying to get something out of his back pocket. "She seems safe enough for now. I'll just get my switchblade and then figure out what to do about Todd after that."

Stealthily, Tamika moved forward, focusing her mind on being quiet and on getting to her switchblade. As she moved toward it, she heard nothing that indicated that Todd was even remotely aware of her. Oddly enough, she heard nothing at all from the whore. A little ways away from her goal, Tamika glanced at the pair to try and figure out why this was. The reason terrified her.

"He's...choking her." Quickly, Tamika fumbled with the gun's safety, trying desperately to get it undone in time to save the whore. Yet, when she finally got the safety off, she saw it was too late. The whore, whoever she was, was dead and Todd was standing triumphantly over her corpse.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!" Tamika screamed as she fired at Todd. She had wanted to send a bullet right through his brain, yet in her rage and inexperience, she ended up just injuring his left shoulder. All of her wanted to just fire at Todd until he died, yet she forced herself instead to just yell at him, "Don't move a muscle Todd, or the next one goes in your head!"

Todd jerked forward when the bullet impacted his left shoulder and as he turned he was surprised to see a very angry red head pointing a gun at him.

His right hand clutched at his bleeding shoulder and was happy to see Tamika was a lousy shot. It was only a flesh wound he wouldn't have to dig out a bullet later... But still he couldn't believe that crazy bitch just took a shot him. Why was she even here?! Was she trying to save Emily? Well she was too late for that!

He grinned and snuck a glance at the body at his feet but did a double take at the lifeless brown eyes that stared back at him. That wasn't Emily! Who the FUCK WAS THAT?

He snarled and then yelled, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE RED?!" He glanced down again at Zoe's corpse, "TRYING TO TRICK ME ARE YOU? WITH THIS WHORE?!..." He took a step closer, completely disregarding Tamika's warning, and pulled out his own sidearm. His arm and shoulder felt like they were on fire but he ignored the pain and raised his weapon and fired. His bullet whizzed a mere inch by Tamika's right ear and pinged harmlessly off the pile of pipes behind her.

Todd could have easily killed her right there and then, as he was a excellent marksman, but he wanted some fucking answers. He screamed, "WHERE IS SHE RED! I KNOW YOU KNOW WHERE SHE IS. I'M ON TO YOUR LITTLE GAME NOW! TELL ME WHERE EMILY IS!"

He fired a second bullet at her feet, "START TALKING! OR A BULLET BETWEEN YOUR EYES WILL BE THE LEAST OF YOUR WORRIES."

Tamika was confused as Todd accused her of tricking him, wondering why he would think she'd lead a whore to her death to hide Emily. Though she didn't have much time to contemplate this as she saw Todd move forward and pull out his gun. Without much thought, she fired again, this time scraping the right side of his chest just as a bullet flew past her ear. Instinctively, she ducked down to the ground and glanced at the switchblade near her.

"There's no way in hell am I going to be able to beat him with a gun. If only there was a way I could get close to him..." A second bullet hit the ground in front of her, and she quickly tried to figure out a way to trick him.

"O-okay! Okay Todd! You got me!" She yelled as she stood up with her hands up, her right one still clutching the gun. "I hid Emily from you! I thought it would be for the best, but now I see I was wrong! Dead wrong! I have the address where she is at!"

Tamika reached in her pocket and pulled out two business cards she still had in there. One was Atlas's, the other was Emily's. "Emily's definitely. I don't want him going after Atlas, and besides, he did say he wanted to know where Emily was." After slipping Atlas's business card back in her pocket, she held up Emily's.

"The address she is at is written right here! Now, I'm going to put my gun down! After I do so, I want you to put your gun away! Then you can come here and take the address! I hope you and Emily have a good time together!" After she finished yelling, she bent over and set Atlas's gun on the ground. Yet, just before she stood up again, she picked up her switchblade and concealed it in her right hand. As she straightened up, she held the business card in front of her in her left hand.

"Alright, now put your gun away and find your Emily."

Todd grit his teeth when Red's second bullet grazed his chest. She better stop shooting soon or his aim was going to suddenly fail him.

He smiled when the girl began to cower and the truth finally came out. He eyed the small white card Tamika held out for him to take. Emily was there eh? Thought she could hide from him did she? At his current distance what was written on the card was a blur but it did look like a business card of some sort. What was Emily doing at a business, was one of her john's there? Was Tamika Emily's pimp? When did this happen?

Tamika placed her gun on the ground and pleaded that he do the same. He took a step forward gun still aimed at her head.

This better not be another trick Red. I'm not playing games here.

Todd had no intention of lowering his weapon until he had the God damn card in his hand but then Tamika had said, "Alright, now put your gun away and find your Emily."

His grin widened it would seem she was finally seeing things his way. Maybe violence wasn't needed anymore as they were finally seeing eye to eye now.

Todd lowered his gun. "Oh I will Red. I'm glad to see you've finally decided to cooperate." He replaced his sidearm to his holster and continued forward. "You're lucky you only grazed me earlier with your shots before. You know...things could have been a lot worse for you if you had actually hurt me. I'm willing to forget all this now you are willing to tell me where your whore is hiding."

Todd held out his hand. "Just know that from this day forward Emily doesn't work for you anymore. If you try pimp her out again so help me God I will shove this gun in your mouth and pull the trigger." Todd leaned down to take the card from Tamika's outstretched hand failing to notice the switchblade currently open and clutched in her other hand.

"Hand me the me the card love and then get the fuck out of Greenvale. I don't want to see you around here again! UNDERSTAND?!"
