Time: Day 2, Evening
Weather: Raining
Warnings: None.
Characters: Wes, Todd [OPEN]
This had turned out to be quite a day. He hadn't expected much from it - a dull day, plans dampened by the rain - but it had ended up as a bit of an ordeal. By the time he was home, he was tired, but doubted he could sleep. it wasn't that late, the raptors were still uneasy, and he just didn't want to hang around. So what would he do?
He mulled around a bit, feeding the cats and making some calls, before deciding to head back out. No random wandering this time; he didn't want to seem so erratic, so shaken. The person, the eyes, they might be lured out if he just tried to continue as normal. Of course, this wasn't quite normal. Going out into town wasn't normal for him. Regardless, he decided to go check out that little bar he'd driven past.
It had looked like the kind of place he wouldn't mind going to. A bar that small couldn't hold too many people, and he couldn't imagine it being too busy in the rain. Upon arrival, he was pleased to see that the parking lot was, in fact, not very full. After a quick check to make sure that no one was following him by car, he made his way up to the door.
Despite his intentions to saunter in like he owned the place, he entered still looking a bit worried and sulky. The place, he noted, had a rowdy feel and was a bit dark, with almost more places to play than to eat. Seating himself at the bar, he ordered a beer and some tacos from the hat-wearing bartender and stared at the elaborate dart setup behind his seat.
