Time: Day 3, Late Evening Weather: Cloudy Warnings: Hauling drunks Characters: Tamika Weir, Atticus "Atlas" Lasseter Notes: Continued from Horror Under the InfluenceThe rest of the drive to Atlas's house was quiet, since Atlas appeared to have fallen asleep. There were few shadows out, which relieved Tamika. She was afraid that Atlas's hellhound might decide to come out to play. As she pulled into the driveway of one of Greenvale's private residences she let out a sigh of relief and double-checked the adress on the business card Atlas had given her. When she saw the addresses matched up, she lightly shook Atlas's shoulder to wake him up. Then she she climbed out of the car and helped Atlas out. Once she had gotten him to his front door, Tamika asked, "Will you be okay from here?"

Atlas lulled around for a bit. He stayed prone for the most part, listening to the car coast along the road and feeling the motion of the car. When it finally stopped in front of his place, he felt Tamika lightly shake him. He attempting to rouse himself out of his sleep and exit the car.
When he got out, he fell to the ground. Luckily, Tamika was able to help him up and over to his front door.
"Yeah...I think.." Atlas sounded a bit groggy. "Thanks for...ride..." he said and then threw his arms around Tamika to hug her.

Tamika was surprised when Atlas suddenly threw his arms around. She was just barely able to keep herself from jumping back away from him, her instincts thinking that he was trying to stab her or something. Then she finally realized he was just giving her a hug.
Tamika stood still for a few moments, trying to figure out what to do. She wasn't used to people hugging her. The last guy who did so was more interested in finding where her wallet was than who she was. That guy walked away with a black eye and no extra money. Yet, she felt that Atlas wasn't trying to rob her or anything like that. Tamika wasn't sure exactly what his actual reasons were, but was pretty sure that they were nothing bad.
Tentatively, she wrapped her arms around Atlas. After standing there for a bit, Tamika pulled away and told him, "Try to get some sleep. Don't want you to fall asleep at the graveyard tomorrow, or someone might think you're dead." She smiled at him and then turned to leave.

Tamika was a bit apprehensive about hugging Atlas was first. It seemed unsurprising to him, after all he had hugged her out of the blue. However, she had eventually end up hugging him back, causing him to smile.
"Yeah...I'll try...Don't want to die just yet, heh heh heh." he chuckled at Tamika's comment. "You have a safe trip home too. Don't let Barghest Jr. bite. It'd break my heart if I saw a gravestone for you in the morning." he waved back and stumbled into the house.
The first thing he had to do was take a leak. All of the beer inside him was still there. He tripped his way up the stairs and eventually found the bathroom. He tried his hardest not to soak the rest of the bathroom as he went about doing his business. After he was done, he let out a sigh of relief and stumbled over to his bedroom, where he immediately plopped down onto his bed and passed out.

"I'll be careful," Tamika called back as she headed toward her car. For a day that started terribly, it ended not too badly. Sure, she had a huge bruise on her left cheek, but she had a job. And her boss seemed quite...enthusiastic. Tamika smiled as she climbed into the driver's seat, remembering singing with him. Atlas wasn't too bad either. Sure, he got completely wasted, but he still saved her life.
Tamika facepalmed as she turned the key in the ignition. "Crap! I forgot to thank him! I guess there's always tomorrow..." She pulled then pulled out of Atlas's driveway, still contemplating these two strange guys she had met.
